Just Jack
Writer's Block

Mercury

WE SAY

24-year-old Jack Allsop is Just Jack, a DJ and songwriter. The now defunct RG Records unearthed his talent and released his 2003 debut The Outer Marker to great critical acclaim, including being featured here. Mercury are now picking up where that left off. Charismatic, witty writing splashed with obscure samples, this is interesting pop music. Support has so far come from Sara Cox at Radio 1. JF
