Dazzling and emotionally arresting from the very first play, ‘bloom (when the rain falls)’ is the spellbinding piano-led release from London-based singer-songwriter Isaac Stuart. Exploring the quiet disconnection of your twenties, the track blends timeless songwriting with modern pop finesse. Think Rufus Wainwright’s emotional weight, Tom Odell’s melodic charm, and Lizzy McAlpine’s raw sincerity—all anchored by Isaac’s breathtaking vocals. Released on Wednesday (30 April), the track is primed for additions on emotional, pop and singer-songwriter editorial playlists across DSPs. This single marks the first release from his forthcoming Matt Hales (Olivia Dean, Lianne La Havas) produced EP ‘Take Your Time’ and follows the success of Isaac’s debut EP, ‘Skyline’. With support from BBC Radio 1, 2, 6 Music, and BBC Introducing, plus Virgin, and outlets like Notion, Clash, and Wonderland for his previous music, it won’t be long before more come on board with this fantastic release. Fresh off a sold-out Soho launch show and an appearance/session on BBC Introducing Oxford this week, his latest work is tender, heartfelt, and effortlessly brilliant.
