A former designer turned full-time artist, Seoul-born, Paris-based producer and DJ Didi Han has steadily built a loyal following for her vibrant fusion of house, jazz and pop. Following the release of her EP’s, ‘Wake Up’ (2021) and ‘In The Zone’ (2023), she is now gearing up for her third EP release, ‘I Dream’, in June. Ahead of the EP’s release, Didi has dropped this sublime remix of her latest single, ‘Paper Plane’ by Australian duo IN2STELLAR. Drawing on the TR-909 drums, acid basslines and ethereal nature of the original, IN2STELLAR reimagines the track through a global club lens, adding lush melodic synths and bass-driven grooves. It’s quite a magnificent take on the hazy electronic feel of the original and introduces Didi Han’s sound to an even wider audience of clubgoers and electronic music fans. With support from Rinse FM, NR Magazine, and Divine, alongside her breakout Boiler Room set in Seoul that led to shows at Village Underground, Ministry of Sound, Philharmonie de Paris, and Circus Tokyo, Didi Han is a producer and DJ worthy of your attention.
