Flora Cash
California

Icons Creating Evil Art (ICEA)

WE SAY

Shpresa and Cole are the Scandi duo Flora Cash and this heavenly song is the opener from their acclaimed recent album Nothing Lasts Forever (And It’s Fine). The two musicians connected when they found one another via Soundcloud, with a mutual desire to create the perfect chilled-out soundtrack to their unique stories of love, loss, heartache and destruction. With everything that’s been happening in the news around the world of late, we all could do with music like this to help us contemplate things, grow and ultimately move on. California has been deservedly well-received with a premiere at Clash magazine leading on to a No.1 on Hype Machine the day before the album was released. The Line OF Best Fit, Noisey, Konbini, Indie Shuffle and others have supported the album, their Ja Ja Ja Berlin show sold out, they’re in the US at present working on press, and next arrive in London on May 31 to perform for Sofar Sounds. Right now, they’re actively seeking an agent to work with them. This noteworthy track with its hypnotic, subtle shuffle groove ably proves their credentials are impeccable.
