Let us introduce you to the gloriously funky and R&B infused sound of Norway’s Fieh. Led by 22-year-old singer and multi-instrumentalist Sofie Tollefsbøl, this eight-piece ensemble is one of the fastest growing acts coming out of Oslo. Having initially started out as a creative solo project by Sofie, she swiftly assembled musicians from her friends and fellow students at the Norwegian Academy of Music to form a band. Drawing on influences from D’Angelo, Erykah Badu and The Roots, the group produces a fresh and unique funk-laden soul sound that radiates a euphoric sense of excitement and energy. With over 685k streams to date, Glu perfectly captures this spirit and alongside their other single 25 have garnered tastemaker praise from the likes of The Line of Best Fit, Fader and Clash, as well as featuring on Elton John's Beats 1 Rocket Hour radio show and Spotify editorial playlists. Having impressed key industry professionals earlier in the year with their ambitious live performances, they will be playing The North Sea Jazz festival this weekend in the Netherlands, as well as Øya and Reeperbahn festivals later on in 2018. Managed by the same team behind Katzenjammer, Emilie Nicolas and Ylvis, this is fun, soulful and infectious music from a talented group of musicians that's not to be missed.
