Bang Bang Romeo
Shame On You

Five Seven Music

WE SAY

Fronted by vocal powerhouse Stars (aka Anastasia Walker), Bang Bang Romeo are an alternative alt-rock trio from Doncaster who we have been following since last year’s Great Escape Festival. Having signed a worldwide record deal with Eleven Seven Label Group recently, the band are back with this powerful and electrifying new single. Clocking in under three minutes, and with one of the catchiest rock choruses we have heard in a long time, Shame On You is a bonafide rock hit in the making. The trio’s previous singles, Chemical and Natural Born Astronaut were championed by Huw Stephens (Radio 1), Tom Robinson (6 Music), Virgin Radio and Radio X, while the NME, the Sun, the Independent, Louder than War and Clash are all admirers alongside Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi. Last year saw them touring across the country, as well as performing at Reading, TRNSMT, Y-Not and Liverpool Sound City festivals. Later today the band will be opening the main stage at the Isle of Wight Festival after specially being chosen by promoter John Giddings and will also perform at Tramlines, Kendal Calling and Victorious festivals this summer. Shame On You is another compelling and anthemic addition to their growing catalogue and we can't wait to hear more from this talented trio.
