Duel
Chi Mai

Decca

WE SAY

They're calling it Violin Idol: Duel are two classically trained violinists from Manchester and were spotted busking there by none other than Pete Waterman, who produced their self-titled debut album and - watch out - who could be due another chart comeback in the coming weeks. The album is a mixture of popular classics and film themes, including Morricone's Chi Mai which was first used in the film Maddalena, then in The Professional and for a third time as the theme to the BBC's The Life And Times Of David Lloyd-George. Duel have already toured with Aled Jones, they're on Songs Of Praise this Sunday, and their album is due out on February 16.
