WE SAY
We turn once more to our innovative friends in Scandinavia for this spellbinding track from 18-year old artist dePresno. Born and raised in Bergen in Norway, home to fine talent like Kygo, Röyksopp, Kings Of Convenience and our recently featured favourite new pop queen Aurora, this incredible single was recorded and produced by the same team as hers. He’s a singer/songwriter who started getting lost in music aged four when his parents bought him a guitar and he soaked up great artists like Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Bob Marley. Just last year he received a rather special gift - his brother used his savings to pay for a day in a recording studio. His producer that day was so blown away by what he heard, he’s now managing him. Recent support has come from hip online blogs like Crack In The Road, Blahblahblahscience, Machine Factory, The NU World, I Hart Moosiq and STD Motive. Mixing minimalist electro blips, beeps and beats perfectly with a heart-wrenching vocal, we can’t wait to catch him live. For now, just one word will suffice: breathtaking.
