Place In My Heart
WE SAY
Debut single Place In My Heart sets the scene for David Jordan, a big priority for Mercury. As debut singles go, it's a belter too, both lyrically and musically. The album Set The Mood is released in the UK, Germany and France simultaneously next month, and we're sure international interest will grow after that. Apparently spotted by co-founder of ZTT Jill Sinclair, David Jordan's album has been produced by the Trevor Horn. Popjustice likened him to "a mix of Terence Trent D'arby and Justin Timberlake", and that's exactly what we like about him - soulful, hip and commercial. Catch him in London tomorrow before a nationwide tour support with Beverley Knight. JF London gig: September 26, Water Rats WC1
