Dance Lessons certainly know how to impress with this deliciously sultry blend of jazz, soul and dance-pop. SMABTO oozes class and coolness with a sound that harks back to the glamorous past but also of the now. Full of smooth soul sounds, enhanced by laidback percussion and frantic guitar licks, it offers a lush backdrop to this sensual and sophisticated number with rich saxophone solos and producer Ann’s tantalising vocals. It’s truly a treat to the ears, and it’s not just us shouting their praise. Fader, The Line of Best Fit, Earmilk and Mahogany among others are fans of the London-based trio too, while radio support has so far come from Amazing Radio. With more singles to come over the coming weeks, Dance Lessons are off to a flying start with this debut track, and we believe there is plenty more to come from them too.
