Clement Marfo
Let The Music Play

Audio Network

WE SAY

South Londoner Clement Marfo is an artist that you’re probably already be familiar with. Championed by Zane Lowe and many others at Radio 1 back in the day, we hadn’t heard from him for a while until some tasty new solo tunes recently came to our attention, and we reckon this huge summertime anthem is one of the best things he’s ever released. It’s the lead song from his latest EP and the follow-up to his spring release Breath Of Fresh Air. He’s already had over 700 global syncs for tracks from this EP, featured in key Spotify playlists Rap UK and the UK Viral Top 50, seen solid support from BBC Radio 1Xtra including spins from Charlie Sloth and Trevor Nelson, and lots of love from mainstream and specialist press alike. The lyrics were written during the sadness he suffered when he lost a great friend, but the track is hugely uplifting and sounds built for crossover radio play everywhere. With echoes of Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s 2015 anthem See You Again, this deserves to be just as enormous as that worldwide smash was. Yep, it really is that good.
