carina
pretty lil mystery

Don't Sleep

WE SAY

Awash with immersive, atmospheric electronic soundscapes, ‘pretty lil mystery’ is the brilliant new single from London-based artist carina. Named after the constellation by her father, carina has been making a name for herself on the London scene with her deeply personal music. Having struggled with dissociation disorder since she was young, she uses songwriting as a form of therapy. Her debut EP, ‘spaceout!’ caught the attention of tastemakers Steve Lamacq (6 Music), Jamz Supernova (1Xtra) and BBC Introducing, as well as Clash, Wonderland and Notion. Released today (5 July), the track is the latest single to be taken from her forthcoming second EP, ‘after the stars’. With its moody vibe, the track would be perfect for those late-night electronic playlists at DSPs and specialist spins at Radio 1 and 6 Music.
