WE SAY
It's Nice To Be Alive is a classic piece of songwriting that has seen Ball Park Music elevated atop the list of rapidly emerging bands in Australia. National youth broadcaster Triple J has given the band huge support, with a string of high rotation singles, nominating their superb debut album Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs as one of 2011's best, and awarding the Brisbane six-piece Unearthed Artist of the Year, joining an alumni that includes The Jezabels and Washington. Their imminent headline tour is already largely sold-out with multiple shows added in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. There's a much wider audience yet to hear this track internationally and as with the likes of Kimbra, Little Red and indeed Gotye, we fully expect to see Ball Park Music break out of Australia over the next year or so.
