Vampire Smile
WE SAY
Vampire Smile is the third of three Kyla La Grange singles on Chess Club, a release plan also followed by Mumford & Sons at the start of their career. Like the Mumfords, Kyla leaves Chess Club nicely poised - her social media numbers have seriously accelerated in the past week off the back of the beautiful Vampire Smile video, a tour with Dog Is Dead, a Daytrotter session, and radio support from the right specialists. All this just as she has signed a deal to release her album on her own Ioki label via Sony, plus a publishing deal with Spirit Music. We have a feeling this track will run and run. Kyla plays a UK tour in April and her biggest headline show to date at Village Underground in Shoreditch on May 29.
