WE SAY
The first single proper from the Glaswegian teenager is off to a good start. It's Radio 2 record of the week, and there is also great regional radio support for this in Scotland, as well as being added across EMAP TV stations. Amy has a residency at the Water Rats starting this month, while festival dates start with Glastonbury and take in all the major ones after that, including spots at T in the Park and T in the Fringe. She will also be the first artist to benefit from the iTunes/Bebo deal which will see one free music download a week for members - another track, Youth Of Today, will be the first one made available. Taken from her forthcoming album This Is The Life, Mr Rock & Roll was the first song we ever heard in demo form from Amy. We were won over by the rhythmic punch and the lovely vocal then, as we are now. Watch the video here. JF London gig: 21 June, Water Rats WC1
