Alyssa Bonagura
Lonely Friday

unsigned/ LIPA

WE SAY

Alyssa Bonagura's contribution to the forthcoming EP from Liverpool's Institute Of Performing Arts stood out instantly as a polished effort. ‘Play. Stop. Rewind,' the seven track digital EP on the university's label, had the tracklist selected by Travis' Fran Healy. Alyssa's light country-influenced sound, backed with some strong songwriting, shows lots of commercial potential. As part of the forthcoming Liverpool Sound City, Alyssa will play the LIPA Records live showcase at Heebie Jeebies on Wednesday May 28. JF
