Drawing on UK Garage for inspiration, 26 year old singer-songwriter ABISHA returns with this joyously high tempo dance track. It’s her first release of 2021 and sees the Devon-born artist build on her earlier R&B and pop sound that has impressed tastemakers Dazed, i-D, Billboard, Earmilk, Dummy, Gay Times, and more. Spotify, Amazon Music, and Tidal are fans too, having supported previous singles with features on editorial playlists. Alongside this, she has also worked with top brands from ASOS to PUMA, Superdry and most recently, a collaboration with FootLocker EU for their #ShoesDontChangeTheWorld campaign. Released today (11 June) and featuring on Spotify UK’s New Music Friday playlist, If You Were Mine is about what a healthy relationship means to ABISHA and how she would treat her next girlfriend.
