The Flints
Serengeti

Two Minute Music/AWAL

WE SAY

Drawing on inspiration from the Bee Gees to the Kinks and Tame Impala, The Flints are identical twins, George and Henry Flint. Born in Belgium, raised in Manchester and now based in London, the brothers have previously written for artists like Jean Dawson, Debnever, Junior Varsity and Tkay Maidza and are now branching out under their own name. Released earlier this month, Serengeti marks their debut single from their forthcoming 100 Million Lightyears EP. With echoes of MGMT, Empire of the Sun and Tears For Fears all wrapped up in this indie banger, it’s a pretty impressive start for the duo. The Line Of Best Fit, Clash and Radio 1 are already fans and DSP support has come from Spotify and Apple Music with several editorial playlist additions across the platforms. Watch the '80s-inspired video here. Having supported the Rolling Stones at BST and made numerous live appearances this summer, the twins will next play Neighbourhood Festival in Manchester (1 Oct) and then Live at Leeds (15 Oct). One to watch.
