All City Music

WE SAY

HMV's urban music buyer Steve Owen first told us about British rapper Sway perhaps two years ago. Since then, the specialist buzz has grown and the press has been sensational for an unsigned artist (see here for a very effective demonstration of this), spurred on by the Sway's DIY approach and disdain for major labels. We became converts at In The City when Alex Jones-Donelly chose this track to play during our Record of the Day Music Roundtable. It's witty and it's crammed with hooks. On the B side of the physical release will be Download which has grabbed a lot of attention recently and is due for digital release itself on November 14.
