WE SAY
Sam Brookes' eponymously-titled debut album comes out on Bath independent label Helium this year, produced by Chris Hughes (Tears For Fears, Robert Plant, Paul McCartney). Led by the bruising In Weeks, it's a beautifully crafted set of songs and a sterling debut turn. In the last year 24-year old Brookes has played shows with Scott Matthews, Cherry Ghost and toured with Ray Davies. He runs 'The Unplugged Sessions', a fortnightly folk club night at London pub The Windmill. Sam Brookes is currently looking for a live agent.
