WE SAY

Republic Of Loose have been forging their own unique brand of rock, blues and funk-pop in Ireland for quite a while now, but their second album Aaagh! finally gets a UK release. The core seven-strong line up are joined on this brilliant set-up single by ex-Chicks vocalist, Isabel Reyes Feeney. Aaagh!, out in October, reached number two in the Irish charts and garnered two nominations apiece for the prestigious Meteor and Choice Awards. Picking up many high-profile fans on their recent UK dates, their cracking live show has to be seen to be believed. Catch them at Reading and Leeds festival. There's much more to come from this talented collective. JF
