WE SAY
Postdata is the project of Canadian band Wintersleep's Paul Murphy and his brother, Michael. Their self-titled debut record is a gem - Murphy's fragile, eerie vocals lead a moving journey through nine intimate songs, all inspired by their family. Warning is typical of this beautifully-written record, which conjures up a time and place in the way that Bon Iver's debut did for many critics and fans. We can see this winning over many UK reviewers in the coming months. Postdata play UK dates next month in support of David Bazan. JF London gig: February 3, Borderline W1 (w/ David Bazan)
