Newton Faulkner
Full Fat

unsigned/Pressure

WE SAY

We first featured Newton's song (with a different track title) back in November. He's been busy since then and picking up a lot of influential fans. Jimmy Page has championed him and, head of Radio 2, Lesley Douglas has tipped him as one to watch. A couple of weeks after we featured him, Johnnie Walker saw him at Ronnie Scotts then promptly asked him to play on Radio 2 Drivetime, he has also featured on Dermot O' Leary's show. He signed a publishing/production deal with Peermusic late last year and is currently working his first album. This is engaging, well-crafted singer songwriting, worthy of the buzz. SXSW gigs: Mar 15 9:45pm, BMI Showcase at Maggie Mays ; Mar 16 8pm, BMI/Radio 2 BBQ at Brush Square
