We finally saw Melissa for the first time at this year's SXSW. How many boxes does she tick? Who cares - when it comes to talent and songs, she wipes the floor with just about everyone else. Beijing is a quality song and performance where every line has something to offer. It's the opening track on her current album The Other Side which she released on her own Right On label in the US, and is available to license worldwide.
