Lucie Silvas
What You're Made Of

Mercury

WE SAY

Lucie is probably the biggest new artist priority across any part of Universal in the UK right now. Get her album and you'll understand why - total class, from the outstanding vocals to the lyrics to the production (a return to form from Mike Peden). There's some excellent songwriting too - written by Lucie, often with Judy Tzuke of Stay With Me Till Dawn fame, plus there's a cover of Nothing Else Matters by her labelmates Metallica. We can't stop singing this first single. Radio 2 were Lucie's first champions and a documentary will run about her as part of this week's Great British Music Debate. She will be all over mainstream media before long.
