Riding a synth-laden production filled with vibrant pop melodies and hypnotic tones, ‘Wild Things’ is the latest offering from British-born, LA-based singer songwriter Laurel. Having captured the attention of tastemakers at Spotify, Apple Music, Radio 1, Triple J and iHeart Radio, along with praise from The Observer, Dork, i-D, Vogue, GQ and more for her previous music releases, ‘Wild Things’ marks the exciting beginning of a new musical chapter. Taken from her forthcoming second album, ‘Palpitations’, out on 14 June, the track sees Laurel balance the serious with the playful in this summer-ready dose of polished pop goodness. Upon release last night (28 February), Laurel also dropped the Elliott Ardnt-directed video – watch here. Perfect for new-pop playlists at DSPs and Future Pop spins at Radio 1, ‘Wild Things’ is a welcomed return for Laurel, making her one to watch in 2024. Tonight (29 February), Laurel plays a sold-out underplay show at London’s Oslo and will be announcing a UK headline tour shortly.
