Joe Killington is no stranger to streaming or chart success, having sung the vocals and featured on numerous hits across Europe, including Purple Disco Machine’s Devil In Me, Klingande’s Ready For Love, Deepend’s Could Be Love and many others. He’s also a top draw songwriter who has co-written the above singles, plus written tracks for the likes of Armand van Helden, James Smith, Otto Knows, Jack Wins, Disco Fries and Alok. Last Friday (25 September), Joe released this, his addictive debut single Painkiller ft Lovely Laura. Produced by M-22 and featuring a glorious feelgood sax solo, this smooth dance hit led by a simple piano motif has got off to a flying start with over 60 playlist additions, including Spotify’s NMF, Friday Cratediggers, and Hot New Dance. The Chainsmokers gave the track its world airplay premiere on their SiriusXM’s BPM Friday Night show, and we expect this won’t be the last spin either, as this slinky and hooky dance track gathers momentum over the next few weeks. A summery blast of upbeat and fun vibes.
