Ed Harcourt
Do As I Say Not As I Do

Piano Wolf/Essential

WE SAY

Ed Harcourt is one of our favourite songwriters, and a national treasure if ever there was one. He's not only a gifted lyricist but also delivers delightful and unexpected melodies with class. His next album 'Lustre' is his fifth and comes out on his own Piano Wolf label via Essential next month. Co-produced with Ryan Hadlock (Blonde Redhead, The Gossip), the album is streaming on his website now, where the album is available to pre-order. We have our favourites, like the beautiful 'Haywired' and this, the lead single. 'Do As I Say, Not As I Do' has a disarmingly sunny demeanour with Harcourt's trademark broody edge. A sublime return.
