The success of Martin Garrix's Animals and Showtek's Booyah last year suggests a widening gap in the mainstream market for harder-edged dance. The next future hit in a similar vein is Tsunami (Jump), a collaboration between Canadian brothers DVBBS and LA's Borgeous, both rising EDM hot tickets in North America. The instrumental version has been a no. 1 hit across Europe and on Beatport, clocking up over 2.5m Soundcloud plays and more than 60m collective YouTube views. The track has spent 24 weeks in the Shazam Top 200, peaking at no. 11 in the pre-release chart. Now, following his features on hits with Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia, Tinie Tempah adds his thing with a new vocal version premiered by Zane Lowe in November.
