It’s been just over two and a half years since we featured the slick sounds of London-based Parisian alt-jazz singer Cha:dy and her sublime track Like A BOI. Now back with this frank and honest number about young people suffering with mental health, the former BIMM student returns to her more jazzier roots of her debut EP, My Feet On The Ground. Writing from experience and backed by silky smooth R&B production, Cha:dy delivers a meaningful and insightful look into the topic. It’s a gorgeous piece of work and thoroughly deserves more attention. It’s perfect for smooth R&B playlists at streaming services, as well as radio support at Radio 1, 1Xtra and Capital Xtra.
