Berlin-based duo twocolors signs an exclusive publishing deal with SMP Germany
Sony Music Publishing Germany today announced the signing of songwriter-producer duo twocolors to an exclusive publishing agreement.
Emil Reinke & Pierre-Angelo Papaccio, aka twocolors, recently rose to prominence with their viral rendition of the track “Lovefool” by The Cardigans. Since its release, the track has garnered over 230 million Spotify streams and over 1.6 billion streams across DSPs globally. In addition, “Lovefool” was officially certified Gold in Canada, Finland, France, Italy and Poland; Platinum in Germany; Double Platinum in Austria and Switzerland; and Triple Platinum in Russia.
On September 3, twocolors released their latest single “Passion,” which became a Top 100 trending song on German radio charts during its first week. The track follows their successful hit “Bloodstream,” which was released in March and created with Hight and René Miller. Since its release, “Bloodstream” has reached No. 15 on the German Airplay Charts; earned over 50 million global streams to-date; was featured on the cover of Spotify’s ‘Mint’ playlist; and included in over 35 Spotify ‘New Music Friday’ playlists.

The two songwriter-producers originally met in their hometown of Berlin in 2015, and soon after signed a record deal with Virgin Records Germany/UMG in 2020. The duo has collaborated on remixes for prominent talent including the likes of Black Eyed Peas & Shakira, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Jessie J, Topic, Lost Frequencies, Rammstein, Emmitt Fenn, Banners and many more.
