TicketSwap expands in anticipation of strong demand with 2 senior hires: Margriet Rijff and Oscar Kriek 12 Apr 2021
With pilot events underway, and thousands of tickets being sold, the hope of a summer full of live music is fast becoming a reality, and ethical secondary platform TicketSwap is expanding in anticipation of strong demand.
Margriet Rijff joins TicketSwap as Chief Operations Officer today. Margriet was formerly a Senior Executive at beauty booking platform Treatwell and will take responsibility for operations across all markets, ranging from The Netherlands to Brazil.
Margriet has a long tenure at platform businesses, including long spells at Treatwell and Bol.com. She helped grow the Treatwell platform in 11 countries and was involved in various launches, mergers and acquisitions. A clear strategic thinker, Margriet brings hands-on experience driving international expansion, paired with a keen eye for data and analysis. She will be a driving force as TicketSwap returns to an aggressive international expansion.
On joining TicketSwap, Margriet Rijff commented:

Oscar Kriek also joined recently, taking on the newly-created position Head of Business Strategy, where he will drive innovative partnerships across multiple sectors. Oscar is well known in the Dutch music industry, with senior roles covering multiple disciplines. He has experience working with artists, events, venues, and most recently in business strategy at See Tickets Benelux. In addition, he leads the Tech Programme for the influential Amsterdam Dance Event, bringing in various high profile thought leaders over the years such as the CTO of Amazon. He brings a wealth of knowledge which will further enhance the data, insight and services TicketSwap can offer its partners.
