SourceAudio Teams Up with ElevenLabs as Preferred Partner for AI Music Licensing 23 Jul 2025
SourceAudio, the music industry’s most widely adopted sync platform and leader in AI music dataset licensing, today announced its partnership with AI audio research and deployment company ElevenLabs. Through the partnership, SourceAudio will be the preferred music licensing partner for ElevenLabs, offering access to millions of pre-cleared songs hosted on the SourceAudio platform for ethical AI training. This ensures a seamless flow of music to ElevenLabs through a unified delivery pipeline, mirroring the efficiencies enjoyed by DSPs that work with aggregators. Leveraging a network of over 4,000 music catalogs, including independent labels and premium-quality production music libraries, SourceAudio is uniquely positioned to deliver diverse, high-quality datasets tailored to real-world commercial use cases.
“Our AI dataset licensing solution connects forward-thinking AI companies with a vast network of rights-cleared music hosted on our platform,” said Andrew Harding, CEO and Co-founder of SourceAudio. “To meet the needs of ElevenLabs, we strategically aligned and activated many of our diverse and premium-quality catalogs. This partnership showcases how we’re solving complex music licensing challenges at scale, and doing it in ways that empower the commercial use cases AI companies like ElevenLabs are building.”
“We’re on a mission to be the most comprehensive AI audio platform in the world, including for music,” said Mati Staniszewski, CEO and Co-founder of ElevenLabs. “We’re excited to have SourceAudio as a partner as we work to expand our suite of products and deliver for our customers.”
SourceAudio excels in delivering bespoke music solutions to AI companies of all sizes and applications. Currently, 14 million songs on the SourceAudio platform are opted into its AI dataset licensing program. These songs are available to AI companies subject to specific thresholds and ethical AI practices, such as no direct song replication or substitution with synthetic data. Each deal is built on foundations of consent, control, and compensation, ensuring that all parties benefit equitably from fully licensed content.
Current rightsholders on SourceAudio who are interested in dataset licensing can contact their SourceAudio representative to explore available opportunities and new deals in the pipeline. Those not on SourceAudio who would like to review and potentially opt into AI music licensing opportunities can do so by contacting licensing@sourceaudio.com.
