ROSA ASCIOLLA JOINS UTOPIA AS VP, GLOBAL ARTIST AND CREATOR COMMUNITY
ASCIOLLA IS A HIGHLY RESPECTED SPOTIFY VETERAN THAT LED KEY ARTIST AND INDUSTRY RELATIONSHIP TOWARDS MAXIMIZING THEIR OPPORTUNITIES AT SPOTIFY
- Asciolla will join Utopia Music as Vice President, Global Artist and Creator Community and reports directly to the CMO. She will be based out of Los Angeles, California
- Asciolla is a Spotify veteran where she most recently held the position of Head of North America, Artist & Label Partnerships. She led the team working directly with global artists, managers, labels, and distributor executives by supporting, empowering, and educating the creative community about maximizing opportunities on Spotify
- Prior to that she was part of the Spotify Artist Services and Artist Marketing teams and integral in building and nurturing relationships with artists and their teams by advocating transparency on streaming economics, data and on-platform-tools for artists to express themselves and reaching a global audience to connect them with their fans
- Her work resulted in recognition from prominent publications such as Billboard Women in Music Edition, Variety Rising Leaders List, and Billboard's 40 Under 40
Utopia Music, the Swiss Music fintech company, announced that Rosa Asciolla joined the company as Vice President, Global Artist and Creator Community as of January 1st, 2022. She will report directly to the CMO and will be based out of Los Angeles, California, expanding Utopia’s existing presence on the US West Coast.

Asciolla spent nearly 10 years at Spotify. In her last position as Head of North America, Artist & Label Partnerships, she led the team that worked directly with senior label and distributor executives, artists, and managers supporting, empowering, and educating the creative community about its services and how to navigate the streaming landscape. At Spotify, Asciolla worked across teams to foster relationships and build feedback loops between the company and Creators. Along with the broader Music team, she played an integral role in creating Spotify’s first artist-focused website, which established transparency around the streaming business model and allowed them to maximize their global presence to Spotify’s 380+ million users.

Asciolla attended Loyola University New Orleans where, in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, she worked with a non-profit fundraising development, assisting in rebuilding the city and reinvigorating its musical heritage. Throughout her career she’s received recognition from prominent publications such as Billboard Women in Music Edition, Variety Rising Leaders List, and Billboard's 40 Under 40.
