The award for Outstanding Contribution will be presented to Emma Banks of CAA

This award is not given purely for career success, but to a leading industry figure who also gives back to the wider community and/or a particular charity.

Some might say that being the top female contemporary music agent in the world is enough, but others might say Emma Banks’ contribution to music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins far exceeds her achievements as an agent, in human terms.

However, the combination of the two mean this award is one of the most well-deserved in the 10-year history of the Live Music Business Awards.

“Emma is a long-standing and incredibly dedicated supporter of Nordoff Robbins and has been chair of our flagship fundraising event and music award show – the O2 Silver Clefs – for the past five years and,” says a Nordoff Robbins spokeswoman.

“in this time, has helped raised over £5.5 million for the charity. Emma also sits on the Nordoff Robbins’ Race Day committee, fusing her love of music, horses and philanthropy perfectly.”

During her almost 30 years in the music business, Emma has paved a remarkable career path, rising to the top of an industry through a combination of determination, skill and a passion for music.

Emma's personal artiste roster at CAA includes Green Day, Florence + The Machine, Katy Perry, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kylie Minogue.

The Live Music Business Awards gala presentation ceremony takes place at the convention centre beneath London’s new Hard Rock Hotel at Marble Arch on Wednesday 30 October, with an afterparty in the hotel’s Hard Rock Café.

Emma is also The Live Interview guest at the LIVE UK Summit conference and networking event held in the same venue during the day. www.liveuksummit.com

Limited tickets are still available for the awards event at £145 + VAT. www.livemusicawards.co.uk
