Hosted by Jack Whitehall
The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard today announce details of Bring on The BRITs with Mastercard: The 2025 Nominations, the exclusive livestream to announce nominations for the 2025 event. All the nominees for this year's BRITs will be revealed on the official BRITs Instagram and Facebook from 5pm on Thursday 23rd January.
Presented by radio and TV presenter SianWelby, Bring on The BRITs with Mastercard will be streamed on The BRITs' Instagram and Facebook channels and will be the first place to reveal this year's nominees. The broadcast will feature exclusive interviews with some of this year's nominees and a special appearance from broadcast presenter Remel London. Sian will also look ahead to the main show, taking place on Saturday 1st March, live from The O2 arena and broadcast exclusively on ITV1 and ITVX.
Sian said: It's so exciting to host Bring on The BRITs with Mastercard this year. The BRITs is such a huge part of the UK music calendar, so to be able to reveal the 2025 nominations and chat to some of the lucky artists, is really special.
The Nominations stream continues the partnership between The BRITs and Meta, which has already seen the BRITs launch a newWhatsApp channel, which will be the first place to hear the biggest news about BRITs 2025. It will also see exclusive content published on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook throughout the BRITs campaign. The public will be invited to vote for the winners of all five genre awards: Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Pop Act and R&B Act, exclusively on WhatsApp, in a first for The BRITs. Details of how to vote will be announced via the BRITs WhatsApp channel and social accounts in the coming days, with the winners being announced on the night.
Bring On The BRITs with Mastercard was announced on the official BRITs channels through a series of Instagram influencer challenges involving Luke Hamnet, Jourds and Henrie. The trio each took a lookalike of a BRIT award winning icon back to their hometown to surprise members of the public and spread the word that the BRITs were coming. Luke took a Robbie Williams lookalike to Stoke-On-Trent, Henrie and an Ed Sheeran lookalike went to Ipswich and Henrie took a Kylie Minogue tribute act back to mini-Australia, Clapham.
The first winner for 2025 was announced recently, as Myles Smith took home theBRITsRising Star award supported by BBC Radio 1, joining an impressive alumni of former rising stars.
The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard will take place on Saturday 1st March - once again taking place on a Saturday in a primetime TV slot - and will broadcast live on ITV1 and ITVX - from The O2 arena. Award-winning comedian, actor, presenter and writer Jack Whitehall will be back to host this year's ceremony. Presenter and DJ Harriet Rose and presenter, producer and satirist Munya Chawawa will be co-presenting The BRITs 2025: The Warm-Up, a BRITs pre-party show on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm on Thursday 27th February.
Tickets for the public are on sale now HERE
This year the BRIT award has been designed by Gabriel Moses, an acclaimed British-Nigerian multi-disciplinary artist whose collaborators include Skepta, Little Simz, Burberry and more.
Mastercard will be celebrating their headline sponsorship which is now in its 27th year; ITV remain as official broadcaster for the 32nd year, and The O2 arena will host The BRITs for its 14th year.
These long-standing partnerships will continue to support and amplify The BRITs' vision and values, as the event maintains its fundraising for The BRIT Trust, the charitable arm of the awards, who distribute funds to charities that promote education and well-being through music, including The BRIT School and Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy.
Mastercard also continues to partner with the BRIT School to support and celebrate the next generation of creative talent.
