New collectible audio merch unlocks added revenue for touring artists

Bootleg.live, the company that helps artists sell high-quality concert recordings to fans, has launched its official web and iPhone app. Touring is a major revenue contributor for artists, but going on the road is expensive. Bootleg.live gives artists a new opportunity to make the most of their tours, turning live shows into additional revenue with little additional effort.

In an era where streaming dominates music consumption but generates minimal earnings for most artists, the company Bootleg.live provides artists additional revenue. While live concerts offer unforgettable experiences, they're often fleeting, one of the many reasons fans love to record snippets of shows for themselves on their phones. Bootleg.live bridges the gap between artist and fans, preserving the essence of live performances for fans and ensuring that every purchase directly benefits the artists, labels, and all involved, so fans can relive their cherished concert experience and artists can make more on the road.

Like a favorite tour poster or a limited-edition band t-shirt, Bootleg.live recordings can be purchased at the event. Rather than standing in long lines for merch tables, fans simply scan the QR codes posted around the venue. But fans must act fast – each show's Bootleg is only available for a limited time, usually three days.

After purchase, within hours of the performance, fans access recordings via the Bootleg.live app, and begin reliving the magic of their favorite sets while supporting their favorite artists.

"We've already received incredible feedback from artists and fans and we're excited to partner with many more artists in the new year," says Bootleg.live founder and CEO Rod Yancy. Early artist adopters include French electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist Dombrance, rising country star Kaitlin Butts, and Moon Diagrams, the solo project of Deerhunter drummer and co-founder Moses Archuleta.

Bootleg.live will begin onboarding a select group of additional artists to the platform in early 2025, but slots are limited. Artists, managers, and labels who are interested in earning additional revenue with Bootleg.live should visit www.Bootleg.live.live/artists.
