Attune Launches Pioneering 'Urgent Response Guide' 12 Mar 2025
Season Two of ‘Empathy For The Devil’ Podcast Announced
London-based mental health and addiction specialists to the music and associated entertainment industries Attune, have announced the launch of The Urgent Response Guide (URG), a groundbreaking new set of resources.
Available free of charge to all talent-facing professionals, the URG provides clear, structured guidance on how to navigate and support individuals through often complex situations related to mental health, addiction, and neurodivergence, with intuitive, actionable guidance.
The URG highlights how to assess concerns, take appropriate steps, and escalate issues to mental health, addiction, and crisis professionals when necessary, ensuring artists receive the right level of support at the right time.
The URG offers flexible access through both a comprehensive PDF manual and an interactive online platform, making critical information easily digestible and practical. Its user-friendly features include a colour-coded urgency assessment system, an intuitive decision tree for action planning and escalation, and an AI-powered chat assistant that leverages Attune's established protocols. This integrated approach ensures users can quickly understand, evaluate, and respond to situations with confidence.
“Talent-facing professionals are often the first to notice when something isn’t right, but many don’t have the right tools or confidence to step in,” explains Chula Goonewardene, Attunes Clinical Director. “The URG provides practical, accessible steps to help them take action and support artists when it matters most.”
Attune has also announced the new season of its highly acclaimed podcast ‘Empathy For The Devil.’
Hosted by Attune founders Sam Parker, Matt Thomas, and Chula Goonewardene, Season One of ’Empathy for the Devil’ which featured sensitive but powerful conversations about Kurt Cobain, Whitney Houston, George Michael and others, helped shape important conversations around mental health and addiction, in the music industry, and reached Top 20 status in the UK Mental Health Podcast charts.
Season Two premieres this week with in-depth conversations about the lives of legendary artists such as Amy Winehouse, Prince, DMX, Sinéad O’Connor, Sid Vicious, and Jimi Hendrix.
Through intimate storytelling and expert analysis, each episode examines the intersection of creativity, trauma, addiction, neurodivergence, mental health, and the pressures of fame.
