ASM Global celebrates wins for P&J Live and Olympia London at AEO Awards 30 Jun 2022
ASM Global, the world's leading producer of entertainment experiences, venue management and event strategy, celebrates two wins this week, following the AEO (Association of Event Organisers) Awards which took place on 24 June at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.
P&J Live in Aberdeen, operated by ASM Global won the coveted Venue of the Year award. The North-East of Scotland's state-of-the-art venue boasts world-class conference and exhibition facilities and a superior 15,000 capacity arena. Opening in 2019, it has since hosted world-class events and musical talent including BBC Sports Personality of the Year, Andre Rieu, Liam Gallagher, Alice Cooper, Gerry Cinnamon and Michael Bublé, with Elton John, George Ezra, Westlife and Justin Bieber still to come this year.
Olympia London was presented with the Sustainability Initiative Award, for its ongoing efforts to reduce the venue's carbon footprint and overall environmental impact. The venue received praise for sustainability programme and strong zero waste to landfill stats. It was announced in March 2022 that ASM Global was appointed to operate the premier exhibition centre in central London and one of Europe's most historic venues. The Olympia London team had even more to celebrate, as Chairman Nigel Nathan received the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry award.
