The brand new space features state-of-the art studios and event space to empower its global roster in the UK, and attract new talent in one of dance music's leading markets

Armada Music Group, the parent company of the world’s biggest independent dance music label, Armada Music, the first-ever dance investment fund, BEAT Music Fund, and its dedicated publishing division, Armada Music Publishing, today announced the opening of its new multifunctional facility in London. The new space will serve as both a creative hub for local and international artists and a bolstered operational base to support them.

The 7,000-square-foot space, located on Old Street in the heart of Shoreditch, spans six floors and boasts:

- Two state-of-the-art recording studios with custom-built infrastructure, featuring PMC and Barefoot Sound monitors along with Roland, Nord, and Sequential synthesizers; also designed to serve as an in-house space for writing camps.

- A premier event space featuring L-Acoustics club-grade sound system and live streaming capabilities with a capacity of approximately 130 people;

- Dedicated listening rooms for A&R sessions, and

- Accommodations for up to 60 full-time employees.

Armada’s new complex is an integral part of its growth strategy, offering specialized support to dance artists, writers, and producers in one of the world’s most influential music markets. Namely, Armada plans to establish a dedicated local creative team under its publishing arm to further support its roster and bolster Armada Music Publishing’s headcount.

"Working in studios with great acoustics and top-of-the-range equipment truly elevates a session, and having all of this in a prime London spot is so convenient,"said British singer-songwriter, SHELLS. "The listening rooms are a fantastic bonus; it’s great to get into a different physical space at the end of a solo session or writing camp to listen back. I’m so excited for this!”

“I’ve just recently had my first session at Armada’s new complex, and it’s going to be an absolute game-changer having such a well-equipped, creative hub going forward,” said UK dance artist, SILK.

“The UK has always played a crucial role in shaping the global dance scene, and strengthening our footprint here allows us to drive innovation in one of music’s most influential markets,"said Maykel Piron, CEO of Armada Music Group. “We’re thrilled to continue providing best-in-class services for our artists and writers around the world and look forward to leveraging this top-notch new space in the heart of London.”

Armada opened its first London office in 2017, and has since significantly strengthened its UK output, with the UK now standing as its second-largest streaming territory. In line with this, Armada has also doubled its head count over the last two years.

Building on its regional momentum, Armada recently led Manchester-born DJ and producer D.O.D to achieve his first U.K. Top 20 hit ‘So Much In Love’ and signed a long-term recording deal with him shortly thereafter. Armada also led a successful campaign for Mason & Princess Superstar’s 2007 hit ‘Perfect (Exceeder)’ last year, which saw the track re-enter the UK OCC chart peaking at #26. The UK operation continues to play a key role in supporting Armada’s global roster, including Armin van Buuren, Joris Voorn, Lilly Palmer, THEMBA and ARTY.

“This is a pivotal moment for Armada and a testament to the UK's vibrant dance music scene,” said Ben Malone, General Manager of Armada Music UK. “This new hub will empower us to further champion local artists, provide them with unparalleled resources, and foster more innovation and creativity in the UK.”
