Warner/Chappell Music has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Argentinian trap star and songwriter, Ecko.

Warner/Chappell Music, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Argentinian trap star and songwriter, Ecko. This marks the first exclusive publishing agreement with a major publisher for the young star whose songs “BYE,” “Dorado,” and “Piso” have all topped the Argentinian Billboard charts.

“Ecko’s unmistakable style has made him a leader in the Latin trap movement, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going as we welcome him to the Warner/Chappell family,” said Gustavo Menendez, President, Warner/Chappell Music, Latin America.

“I am very excited to partner with Warner/Chappell in this new phase in my career,” said Ecko. “Gustavo and his team understand my vision, and I look forward to continuing to grow as an artist and composer alongside them.”

At just 15 years old, Ecko began his career participating in freestyle competitions such as “El Quinto Escalon” and the “Redbull Batalla de Gallos,” and has since released hits like “Disputa” and “Dealer de Skills,” which have gone on to become staples in the Argentinian trap scene. In 2017, his single "Dorado" became a summer anthem, and solidified Ecko as a pioneer in the Latin trap movement at just 19 years old.

Already a superstar in his home country, Ecko has his sights set on taking over the international music scene. Most recently, he broke new ground during his stateside debut performance at SXSW, becoming the first Argentinian urban artist to perform at the Texas festival.

Ecko is recording new music in Miami to be released later this year.
