Warner Music, Spotify, Bbc 6 Music, & Vevo Join Fastforward London Speakers
17 July 2017 - Press releaseFastForward – the future-focused international music business conference – has announced their second addition to the speaker lineup for their new event. Taking place on Friday 15 September at the British Library in London’s Kings Cross, FastForward: London marks the beginning of a new, satellite conference series expansion for the company.
The one-day conference in London will offer a combination of keynote speeches, interactive panel discussions, and FastForward’s ‘FastFifteen’ rapid-fire solo presentations, all of which will complement the annual flagship FastForward event in Amsterdam.
World-leading B2B digital music solutions company 7digital continue their existing two-year relationship with the conference, joining previously announced partners Ticketmaster, Vevo, Sherry Design, and Media Insight Consulting, as a London Event Partner.
New speakers include Bob Workman (SVP Partnerships, Warner Music), Síofra McComb (International Sales & Marketing, !K7, Germany), Sean Adams (Social Media Producer, BBC 6 Music), Claudia de Wolff (Director, Creative Content & Programming, Vevo), Samantha Mandel-Dallal (Head of Content Insights, Spotify), Alex Clough (Social Media Director, Splendid Communications), and Fiona Bevan (Singer-Songwriter; Ed Sheeran, One Direction).
Other speakers previously confirmed include: Merck Mercuriadis (Hipgnosis Music), Farhana Aboo (AEI Media), Charlie Andrew (BRIT Award-winning producer / Square Leg Records), Kelly Bennaton (DHP Family), Chris Carey (Media Insight Consulting), Stu Dredge (Music Ally), Chloé Julien (Bandsquare & Fimalac, France), Sulinna Ong (Deezer) and Rebecca Stewart (The Drum).
In terms of content, Merck Mercuriadis (Iron Maiden, Elton John, Morrissey) will give a keynote on the future of management, with panels covering Brand Partnerships, Using Data in Music, Lessons from Broadcasting, and the Future of Songwriting.
Tickets are available via Ticketmaster’s Universe platform at universe.com/fastforward-london, with the discounted Early Bird rate of £95 expiring on 31 July, rising to £115 until 31 August, and finally £140 for the last minute rate. Similar to Amsterdam, tickets for the event will be limited to 150 to allow for more meaningful networking & discussion.
