Following the announce of their live series, Safe & Sound, featuring headline shows from Stefflon Don & Sundara Karma, War Child UK is thrilled to announce a day of discussion & conversation around resilience, support & mental health in the music industry.
The day will feature ‘in conversation with’ sessions hosted by DIY, featuring Rebecca Taylor (aka Self Esteem) and more to be announced, and panel discussions curated and moderated by partners including the MMF, The Association of Independent Music (AIM), Skiddle & Little Pink Book. It’s presented as part of War Child’s Safe & Sound series, raising funds and awareness for children affected by conflict.
War Child are excited to be partnering with Skiddle as the supporting sponsor and official ticketing partner across Safe & Sound events, as well as DIY as the series’ official media partner.
Rich Clarke, Head of Music at War Child, said: “We are extremely excited to be working with some amazing partners to stimulate discussion around such an important topic for the industry and for the beneficiaries of War Child’s programs. We’ll be raising awareness of the importance of mental health for the young people that we work with through our Safe & Sound series this year, and to bring this conversation back to the industry that has supported us for 25 years is a big moment for us”.
