THE GREAT ESCAPE ANNOUNCES FULL FESTIVAL SCHEDULE AND FURTHER STELLAR LINE UP ADDITIONS INCLUDING; NAO, LIV DAWSON, ADY SULEIMAN, DREAM WIFE, ONR AND PAIGEY CAKEY

UK RnB sensation NAO will headline the YouTube Presents Stage on 18th May down on THE BEACH, showing Brighton the biggest party on the pebbles it’s ever seen, with top performances from the UK’s hottest artists over two venues, pop up food stalls and even bespoke cocktail beach huts… Currently working on new music, NAO will no doubt mesmerise crowds with her own self-styled “wonky funk”, a glorious fusion of R&B, soul tinged funk and pop beats. Joining her will be festival returnee Liv Dawson whose incredible vocal range and emotional depth will blow audiences away.

NAO said: “Very excited to be back at TGE 3 years after playing the tiny Komedia Studio Bar in 2015, it feels great to return as a headliner on such a talented line up.”

The full festival schedule is now live and on the The Great Escape App, so new music fans can make sure they don’t miss their ‘ones to watch’.  Other exciting additions include Ady Suleiman whose husky vocals, forthright lyrics and fresh sounds will be unmissable when he headlines the BoxFresh stage on Saturday night. Back for more TGE love after their 2017 debut is North London rapper Paigey Cakey and previous Brighton students Dream Wife who will send crowds into a frenzy with their pop punky rock.

As if that weren’t enough, Scottish singer-songwriter ONR. signed to Capitol US, will take to the stage with his electro pop-gems laden with dark overtones. Liverpudlian three-piece Trudy And The Romance will also delight with their sound-shifting retro influenced tracks and Joel Baker will bring his own soulful folk-pop, raw song-writing and guitar wielding tunes to the festival.

Rory Bett, MAMA CEO said: “In usual TGE style, we keep adding the heat and energy right up to the festival, it’s very exciting to partner with YouTube to create such a stellar show in our very own new Beach venue.”
