TaP Music sign Balcony to TaP Publishing

TaP Music, the home of Dua Lipa and Dermot Kennedy, today announce the signing of South London dark pop and future wave R&B 4 piece Balcony to their publishing arm - TaP Publishing. Balcony are managed by Polly Comber & Josh Tieku-Smith at Black Fox Management. The signing comes after a huge start to 2019 -  signed by Max Lousada and Nick Burgess to Parlophone, the band have been booked to play 15 festivals this summer including Reading & Leeds, will join Lewis Capaldi as support for his Autumn run (including Brixton Academy) and have received support from Spotify’s New Music Friday amongst others.  

Speaking of the recent signing, TaP said  ‘We’ve loved Balcony’s songwriting since we first heard their music and look forward to working with them on developing their enormous potential.”

TaP was founded in 2010 by music lawyer Ben Mawson and manager Ed Millett. It has since expanded to over 30 people across offices in London, LA, Berlin and Sydney and offers a truly global focus for its clients. 

TaP Music incorporates management, publishing, records and studios and services include dedicated in-house marketing, A&R, studios and digital / social media personnel.
