He will also be tasked with developing the business further and identifying opportunities for growth. With the imminent launch of Staccs, Tullgren joins at a crucial time in executing a go-to-market strategy, but also to develop plans to scale Staccs.

Tullgren boasts vast experience having worked within the entertainment and tech industries for over 20 years. He was previously SVP Marketing at HBO (Nordics) - a globally recognised U.S-based television network, CEO for film & music distribution company Bonver Entertainment Group, and successfully launched film2home - a Scandinavian-based video on-demand service. Amongst this, he also held several roles at Universal Pictures. Tullgren brings a pedigree of expertise and insight which will benefit Staccs.

More than just a music tech company, this strategic hire will lay out the foundations for Staccs to become a forward-thinking media company with ambitious growth aspirations. Staccs will soon be considered the global home for concerts on demand.

Anders Tullgren, Chief Executive Officer of Staccs, commented: "It is an exciting time to join the company in what is going to be an important year for launch. Staccs has developed an innovative product which will add genuine value to the music industry ecosystem. The goal of Staccs is to create a premium, high-quality streaming service for the music fan, providing them with a place to relive their favourite, legendary moments but also, to engage and discover music. I'm looking forward to working with the team."

Jonas Sellberg, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Staccs, added: "We welcome Anders to our growing team. Given his proven track record in helping to launch HBO in the Nordics and assisting the team to drive the company to become the second biggest streaming service in the region - Anders brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise that will benefit Staccs. With Anders, we are hoping to combine the best of both music and video on demand (VOD) know-how which will be strategically important in establishing our brand positioning in the market. We are laying the foundations down for us to become the global home for concerts on demand."

After three years of development, Staccs has created a platform which will stream high-quality, premium video and audio content - all available in one place. It is set to launch in the Nordics in 2021 and details of a UK launch will be revealed later.

Staccs opens up new, untapped commercial opportunities for the music industry with its user-centric business model - offering artists and rights holders a new revenue stream to market classic video content. The new home for concerts on demand, Staccs will offer fans the chance to relive their favourite gigs advert free in the highest quality possible.
