Spotify Launches RADAR, Global Emerging Artist Program with 17 Sister Programs Spanning More Than 50 Markets, along with New Playlist & Content

Spotify is excited to announce the next class of artists for its global emerging artists program, RADAR, with 17 global sister programs spanning more than 50 markets (full breakdown below my signature).  RADAR represents Spotify’s commitment to emerging artists across all stages of their development, in order to help them deepen their connection to new and existing audiences.

Spotify UK & Ireland have chosen rap duo Young T + Bugsey as the first RADAR UK/IE act. Young T & Bugsey have already made a big impact on the UK music scene with their track ‘Strike A Pose’ featuring Aitch hitting over 62 million streams on Spotify and going platinum. The Nottingham-based rappers appeared as surprise guests at Spotify’s Who We Be Live concert in November 2019, and with the RADAR program Spotify’s aim is to expand and deepen this ongoing relationship.

As part of the RADAR program in the UK and Ireland, support for Young T & Bugsey will include the following:

• A full marketing campaign
• Promotion within Spotify
• Editorial support
• A fan event
• ...and more over the course of the year!

RADAR will continue to build and elevate the artists and solidify Spotify as the ultimate destination for artist discovery and a powerful partner for emerging artists.
