PRS Foundation announces the appointment of Ben Wynter as Grants & Programmes Manager and promotion of Maxie Gedge to Keychange Project Manager

PRS Foundation, the UK's leading charitable funder of new music and talent development, announces today the appointment of Ben Wynter as the organisation's Grants & Programmes Manager (Industry Funds) and the promotion of Maxie Gedge to Keychange Project Manager.

Ben Wynter, who will oversee the management of the Momentum Music Fund, Writer Producer Fund and the International Showcase Fund, is the founder of Unstoppable Music Group.  Unstoppable Music has been developing the careers of highly sought-after producers including Dot Inc, Mike Keyz, Gia Koka and co-manages Jim Jonsin. Before Unstoppable Music, Wynter worked with the Sony Records Street Team and worked as an A&R at Sanctuary Records.

Maxie joined the PRS Foundation team in 2016 as Communications Coordinator where she championed the organisation's diverse range of music creators with a focus on making the Foundation's opportunities as accessible as possible. Outside of PRS Foundation, Maxie founded the emerging artist incubator Gravy, has lectured on gender diversity in the arts and hosts LGBTQ+ dance parties.

As the UK's Keychange Project Manager, Maxie will work with a European team from founding partner organisations in Germany and Sweden.

Vanessa Reed, CEO of PRS Foundation said, "Ben Wynter's appointment and Maxie Gedge's promotion is more excellent news for the Foundation following our recent announcement of Joe Frankland as the next CEO. Ben's outstanding music industry knowledge & networks will add huge value to our talent development programmes whist Maxie's experience as artist, feminist, label owner and activist make her the perfect UK contact for our global Keychange campaign. This is an exciting next chapter for the Foundation's ever evolving and impressive team. I look forward to following their progress from afar."
