Pluggers join forces to create new agency

Gregory Wells and Becky Richardson Launch Ghost

Two of the UK music industry’s best-known pluggers have teamed up to create a new London based radio promotions agency.

Ghost is the result of a merger between Plug Life, founded by Gregory Wells and Paisley London, which was launched by Becky Richardson in 2016.

Gregory Wells began his career at independent promotions company, Peer Group, before heading up the radio department at leading independent label, Domino Records.

After three years at Domino where he oversaw campaigns for the likes of Hot Chip, Jon Hopkins and Wild Beasts, he set up his own promotions company, Plug Life and now represents artists including Four Tet, Laura Marling, Neneh Cherry, Floating Points, Cigarettes After Sex and DJ Koze.

Becky Richardson was at Island Records for four years and worked on campaigns for artists including Hozier, Childish Gambino, PJ Harvey, The Weeknd and others.

Since launching two years ago her agency Paisley London has overseen national, specialist & community radio campaigns for a diverse and exciting roster including Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Dave, AlunaGeorge, Charlotte Day Wilson, Bruno Major and  the 2016 ‘Sound Poll’ winner Ray BLK.

Becky’s clients also include a number of festival radio stations including Reading & Leeds 2017 and this year’s new London Festival All Points East.
