Partisan Records appoints Sara Dempsey as Director of Sales

Partisan Records is excited to announce the appointment of Sara Dempsey as Director of Sales. Dempsey will oversee Partisan’s sales and streaming strategy, reporting to Label Manager Andy Hsueh and Global MD Zena White. Dempsey joins Partisan with over 14 years of sales experience, most recently at ABKCO, where as Associate Vice President of Sales & Marketing she worked on campaigns including several Rolling Stones reissues and HBO's ‘Big Little Lies’ soundtrack. She’s also previously worked at Interscope, ADA, and The Orchard.

This is new position for the record label, which has increased its global staff by 25% in the past year. Partisan has enjoyed recent international breakthroughs with acts like IDLES and Cigarettes After Sex, and a 2019 Grammy nomination for Bombino’s ‘Deran.’ 2019 releases will include a new album from Cigarettes After Sex, reissues from the Fela Kuti catalogue, Deer Tick, Mercury Rev, TENDER, Fontaines DC, Body Type, Craig Finn + more.
